Newell Coalition Honors Founding Members

The Newell Community Improvement Coalition recently installed memorials for three if its founding members who passed away. at Laurel Park.
Floyd Wilson was Chairman of the Board of the Coalition. He was active in our Community and he was well known as the driver of the golf cart which transported patrons into the park for the events. In his honor, the Coalition commissioned Ken Sinsel
To make a golf cart to memorize Floyd.
Pictured is Ken Sinsel, and Floyds sons and daughter in laws, Jim and Sue McMillan, Scott and Sarah Wilson and Granddaughter
Lauren Wilson. Ironically, Ken put one of the carts passengers in a wheelchair, unbeknownst that Lauren used a wheelchair and the cart that Floyd drove was Lauren’s cart! A plaque will be placed in the near future.
Also, husband and wife, Cliff and Susie Bebout, who were both founding members of the Coalition were memorialized by the Coalition for their involvement in the community. A beautiful bench was crafted and personalized for Susie and Cliff. Pictured are family members,Grandson, Evan, Daughter in law , Vicki Lynn, Son, Joe and Grandson, Gavin Geisse
