In Mrs. Markish’s 4th Grade Reading class at New Manchester Elementary School, the students are learning about Artists who tell about a life experience through art. The students are practicing this by creating a collage that will tell about a personal life experience of their own. They will share the project with the class and the class will try to interpret their collage. (Pictures 1, 2, 3, 4)
In Mrs. White’s 4th Grade classroom at New Manchester Elementary School, the students have been working on “Shades of Meaning” of words with interactive activities including a scavenger hunt and bingo game boards. (Pictures 5, 6, 7)
In Music class at New Manchester Elementary School, Mrs. Oltmanns has provided the students with a Bitmoji classroom that they can interact with both at school and home learning about various aspects of music, including playing the drums, learning the musical notes, learning about various musical artists such as Frank Sinatra.
