Michael Newbrough, 61, of Chester passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at ELCH after a courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born in Chester, January 31, 1960. He graduated from OGHS in1978. Mike last worked for Pipelines, Inc. He was a lifetime member of Newell American Legion Post 114 and was an avid Steelers fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Audrey Newbrough, three brothers, William Newbrough, Denny Wilson and Bob Wilson. He will be lovingly remembered by a sister, Bonnie Wright of Wellsville, many nieces and nephews including “Kimmie” who was very involved in his care during the last few months, and many friends and work associates.
A memorial services will be held at a later date. The Nixon Funeral Home handled arrangements.
