Citizens Make Your Voice Heard!

 If you’ve ever voiced your opinion about how you believe development  dollars need to be spend the time is hear to make your voice heard. 
   Hancock County will receive $5.59  million from American Rescue Act funds in the coming months and County Commissioners are asking for your input on how to make the best investment of the money in our future.   In addition to COVID expenses, funds may be used for long-term infrastructure projects which include water, sewage and broadband expansion.   A special e-mail [email protected] has been set up by the Commission so that citizens can share their top three priorities for Hancock County’s development.  Comments are due by Monday, April 19, 2021.
  Local municipal distributions are: Chester - $990,000.00; New Cumberland - $420,000.00; and Weirton - $10.59 million.  Readers are encouraged to make their mayors and council members
