Kenneth R. Bartley Jr. “Rob”, 68 of New Cumberland, WV passed away at his home and was reunited with many loved ones and friends in Heaven on Saturday April 24th.
Rob was born on May 13, 1952 son of the late Rosemary Mclaughlin and Kenneth Bartley Sr. He graduated from Oak Glen High School in 1970 and worked as a truck driver and trainer at BOC/Linde gases for 22 ½ years before retiring. He formerly served as a New Cumberland City Council member for many years and was a lifetime member of the New Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department. Rob never met a stranger. He was a “river rat” through and through and loved to spend his days cooking(and eating) good food, watching golf and the Steelers, and doing crossword puzzles. One of his favorite things was having breakfast out with his friends where he could talk, laugh, and eat for hours.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Michael “Mick” Bartley and George Mclaughlin and great granddaughter Amelia Rose Bartley.
He leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Tina Swain Bartley, their children, Danielle Bartley(Justin Wood) and Travis Collins, his sons Kenneth “Rob” Bartley III and Patrick(Caroline) Bartley, sister Rhonda Radeski, and brothers Alan (Dolly) Bartley and Dennis (Sid) Mclaughlin, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his Grandpuppy Maggie.
