The West Virginia Fidelis Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Teacher's Sorority met at the Garden Grill Steakhouse in Weirton, WV on May 6, 2021.
 Chaplain Bonnie Queses presented the Thought of the Day.  She read the history of Mother's Day which was started in Grafton, WV by Anne Jarvis.  The special day became a national holiday in 1914 and was proclaimed as such by President Woodrow Wilson.  Two poems were shared:  "Mother - The Angel at My Side" and "Your Mother is Always by Your Side."  A closing prayer was lifted.
 President Higgins recognized the following birthdays:  Liz Pugh (Jan.31), Twinkle Smith (Feb.9), Carolyn Allison (Feb.24), Elaine Ferrari (Mar.10), Pat Accettolo (Mar.17), Susan Cullinan (Apr.3), Sandy Anderson (Apr.16), Ruth Fuller (Apr. 19), Lisa Subrick (May 3), and Nancy Conley (May 17).
 The treasurer Carolyn Allison presented the March 2020-2021 financial report.  The Sisters were reminded of their birthday obligation.  
 Alpha Delta Kappa Month chairman Susan Cullinan reported that Sisters presented a play for the Ohio Valley District meeting and signs around the county were placed.
 The Altruistic report was given by Cullinan.  Clothes and furniture items had been donated, service hours were tallied, and various monetary donations were made. 
 Bylaws chairman Janet Benzo explained the new title for Alpha Delta Kappa, and a change to the district meeting this year.
 Scholarship chairman Liz Pugh reported that the scholarship applicants were reviewed and the honoree will be invited to the June 3rd meeting. 
 Under unfinished business, a hostess sheet was passed , Liz Pugh will take the position of Fraternity Education chairman, and it was reported that there will not be an Ohio Valley Spring District meeting. 
 Under new business, Fidelis Gamma has earned 6 Pearls, and congratulations were extended to Sandy Anderson for her ten year membership in Alpha Delta Kappa.
 The Alpha Delta Kappa Sisters will be voting in June on the project for World Understanding.
 The hostesses  for the meeting were Garden Grill and Steak House and President Higgins.
 The meeting was adjourned with singing "The Lamp of Alpha Delta Kappa/"
 The next meeting will be June 3, 2021.
