Highest Honor Students Named for Class of 2021


The 58th graduating class of Oak Glen High School is comprised of 126 students.
The highest honor students for the class of 2021 are:

Colton Malone Ash is 18 years of age and the son of Joe and Diana Ash of Chester. He was a member of baseball (4 years).
His hobbies are hunting and fishing.
Following high school graduation, Colton plans to attend Youngstown State University and major in accounting.

Jacob Michael Clark is 17 years of age and the son of Mike and Lori Clark of New Cumberland. He was a member of student council (1 year), soccer (4 years), basketball (4 years), track (3 years), and National Honor Society (2 years).
He also participated in youth leadership, community service and travel soccer.
His hobbies are golf and boating.
Following high school graduation, Jacob plans to attend Grove City College and major in mechanical engineering and play soccer.

Jessica Rhena Duty is 18 years of age and the daughter of Charles and Angela Duty of New Cumberland. She was a member of prom committee (2 years), key club (3 years), and National Honor Society (3 years).
He also participated in Hancock County 4H.
Following high school graduation, Jessica plans to attend West Liberty Northern Community College and major in social work.
Connor McKenzie Gibson is 18 years of age and the daughter of Jim and Melinda Gibson of New Cumberland. She was a member of National Honor Society (2 years), soccer manager (1 year), golf (1 year), and track (3 years).
She also participated in WV Army National Guard, Private First Class, and Trinity United Methodist Church youth group.
Her hobby is hanging out with friends and family.
Following high school graduation, Connor plans to attend West Virginia University and major in Nursing and enroll in West Virginia University ROTC program.

Alexis Lee Holden-Kendra is 17 years of age and the daughter of Noah and Hilary Holden of New Cumberland. She was a member of National Honor Society (2 years), softball (4 years), and prom committee (1 year).
She also participated in valley rage softball and sundowners 4-H saddle club.
Her hobbies are softball and hanging with friends and family.
Following high school graduation, Alexis plans to attend Bethany College and major in sports medicine and play softball.

Alayna Paige Kranis is 18 years of age and the daughter of Robert and Cassandra Kranis of New Cumberland. She was a member of National Honor Society (2 years), key club (4 years), pep club (4 years), track (1 year), youth leadership (1 year), basketball (4 years), and volleyball (4 years).
She also participated in travel volleyball.
Her hobby is skiing.
Following high school graduation, Alayna plans to attend West Virginia University and major in medicine.
Brooklyn Michole Loveland is 18 years of age and the daughter of Terry and Jennifer Loveland of New Cumberland. She was a member of soccer (4 years), basketball (4 years), class representative (1 year), pep club (1 year), prom committee (2 years), youth leadership (1 year), and National Honor Society (2 years).
She also participated in travel soccer and cup soccer.
Following high school graduation, Brooklyn plans to attend Waynesburg University and major in nursing and play soccer.

Rory Saige McNutt is 18 years of age and the daughter of Rob and Krystal McNutt of New Cumberland. She was a member of National Honor Society (2 years), prom committee (2 years), softball (3 years), basketball (4 years), and volleyball (3 years).
She also participated in volunteer work.
Her hobbies are babysitting, reading, and listening to music.
Following high school graduation, Rory plans to attend Miami University of Ohio and major in finance.

Amber Grace Moore is 18 years of age and the daughter of Wade and Kathy Moore of New Cumberland. She was a member of National Honor Society (2 years), softball (4 years).
She also participated in travel softball.
Her hobby is hanging with family and friends.
Following high school graduation, Amber plans to attend Eastern Gateway and major in pharmacy technician.

Jadyn Rayne Smith is 18 years of age and the daughter of Todd and Lisa Smith of Chester. She was a member of volleyball (4 years), student council (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years), class representative (1 year), prom committee (2 years), and culture club (3 years).
Following high school graduation, Jadyn plans to attend West Liberty University and major in business.
Halee Marie Stevens is 18 years of age and the daughter of William and Joyce Wright of Chester. She was a member of student council (4 years), swim (3 years), culture club (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years), prom committee (2 years), pep club (2 years), art club (2 years), and homecoming court (2 years).
She also participated in lifeguard and volunteering at the library.
Her hobbies are swimming, art, reading, and sewing.
Following high school graduation, Halee plans to attend West Virginia University and major in aeronautical engineering.

Garrett James Wright is 18 years of age and the son of Garold Wright, Daniel and Theresa Cain of New Cumberland. He was a member of golf (4 years), film crew girls’ basketball (2 years), track (1 year), National Honor Society (2 years), Technical National Honor Society (1 year), and Lion’s Club scholar of the month.
He also participated in working the concession stand for basketball and volleyball games.
His hobbies are hunting and going to car shows.
Following high school graduation, Garrett plans to attend West Virginia Northern Community College and major in business and attend New Castle School of Trades and major in diesel technology.
