Edward Clyde Loy, 75, of Newell, passed away June 21, 2012.
Born in East Liverpool, Ohio on June 12, 1946, he was the son of the late Delbert and Sara (Roe) Loy.
After graduating from high school Mr. Loy worked for Crucible Steel. He then served with the United States Army during Vietnam War. After he returned home he went to work for Iron City Distributor, later he worked for Fort Pitt Distribution, then last worked as a manager for a Hunting, Camping, Fishing Resort in Pointe a’ la Hache, Louisiana.
He was a life member of the VFW Post 66 and the Glenmoor American Legion.
He was preceded by a sister and a brother-in-law, Deanna and Robert Powers.
Surviving are his daughters, Michelle Daugherty (Matt Markus) of East Liverpool and Angela (Kevin) Steed of Ohio; two sons, Edward (Jennifer) Loy and Mark Loy (Christy Lonkert) all of East Liverpool; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill (Carol) Loy, James (Deb) Loy and Tom Loy all of East Liverpool; also many nieces and nephews.
