The Hancock County Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS) will be holding the second From Garden to Pantry – Preserving What You Grow workshop on Wednesday, August 18 beginning at 10 a.m. at Camp Aura. If enough interest is shown a second, evening, class will be offered on Thursday, August 19, beginning at 4 p.m.
This workshop will cover both pressure and water bath canning. Anyone interested in attending this workshop needs to contact the WVU Hancock County Extension office no later than August 10 at (304)564-3805. Because space is limited a paid RSVP is required. Cost of the workshop is $15 and includes all materials as well as a working lunch.
