Chief Deputy Todd Murray is shown giving a “high five” to a new friend at the Back Pack Give-A-Way sponsored by the Hancock County Sheriffs Office this past week.  Sheriff Scott Gittings reported 150 backpacks were distributed to students  The event was held at Tomlinson Run State Park with Wal Mart providing the backpacks.  According to  Gittings any remaining backpacks were divided among the area schools to be provided to any student unable to make the give-a-way at the Park.
