The WV Dept of Medical Cannabis is traveling to locations in the State to assist those registering for a medical card to receive medical cannabis. The closest location listed to date has been Morgantown. Registration for the medical card can also be done online by going to www.medcanwv.org. A list of physicians authorized to certify a patientâs diagnosis qualifies him/her for the medical card can be found on that site. At this time, the list of physicians does not include a physician in Brooke or Hancock County, but does list Matthew Wood, D.O. of Wheeling as qualified to certify a patientâs eligibility.
