NEW CUMBERLAND DEBUTS NEW LIGHTS

The COVID Grinch may have dampened Christmas spirits last years,  but New Cumberland’s Christmas spirit is glowing this year.   Volunteers were busy erecting the Christmas wreathes and lights on Saturday and putting the finishing touches on River Avenue.   New to the holiday decorations are River Avenue and the pavilion and the lights and decorations in New Cumberland City Park.   The Christmas Parade is slated for Saturday, Dec. 11 with line-up at Fuccy’s lot on Second Avenue with  the parade to begin at 5 p.m.     Following the parade, hot chocolate will be served and residents will be invited to take a walk through to enjoy the newly decorated areas.
