The Oak Glen girls volleyball team recently raised money for the WMC BreastCare Center and for a classmate fighting Ewing Sarcoma at their Dig for a Cure event. The Volleyball team, together with their coaches and the Oak Glen Volleyball Boosters, presented a $500 check to WMC in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The student athletes also contributed to classmate Nathan Carson who is a senior at Oak Glen battling Ewing Sarcoma. The girls wanted to raise awareness and contribute to Nathan’s medical expenses.
