Five area agencies were included in $3,999,933.00 in grants announced by Governor Jim Justice this week. The grants aid in child abuse and neglect services, domestic violence services and victims of crime programs. Local agencies receiving funds include the following:

**A Child’s Place – $10,345.00 – direct services to victims of child abuse & neglect;

**CHANGE, Inc. -$28,337.00 CAC – direct services to children;

**CHANGE, Inc. – Domestic Violence -$12,698.00 Direct services

**Hancock County Commission – $36,056.00 – crime prevention

**Upper Ohio Valley Sexual Assault – $71.099.00
