Mowry to Lead CHANGE, Inc.

CHANGE, Inc., is pleased to announce the confirmation of Lisa Mowry as CEO. Mowry will guide the organization in its continued mission to build partnerships, consolidate resources, and integrate services to empower families to overcome the causes of poverty and live healthy lives.  

An experienced leader, Mowry will succeed Judy Raveaux assuming responsibilities on January 1, 2022. After 39 years with CHANGE, Inc., Raveaux has retired.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Liberty University in 2002, Mowry joined CHANGE, Inc. in March 2004 as Development Coordinator. For the next 14 years, Lisa secured over 350 grants, totaling more than $35 million in funding from foundations, corporations, state and federal sources to support the growth of CHANGE, Inc.’s 30 plus programs, including working alongside Raveaux and other management to obtain the HRSA 330 grant.

In 2018, Mowry accepted the position of Compliance Manager, overseeing the Risk Management, Compliance, HIPAA, and 340B Programs, as well as becoming the Manager of the Customer Resource Coordinators. Lisa is a Certified Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) Implementer and Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP), spending the past 18 years working as an organization leader, and is excited to lead CHANGE, Inc. into the future.

CHANGE, Inc. is a local non-profit organization serving northern West Virginia (Hancock, Brooke, Ohio and Marshall Counties) and Jefferson County, Ohio as well as surrounding communities providing various programs and services. Services include, Family Medical Care which is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that prides itself on being a comprehensive health care facility providing Family Health, Woman’s Health, Dental Services as well as Behavioral Health regardless of age, income level, residency or insurance status. Care is provided through 3 Community Health Centers and 10 School based Health Centers. Other service areas include, domestic violence awareness, child advocacy, weatherization, supportive services for veterans, and housing counseling.
