Caron L. Paris, formerly of Weirton and most recently Chester, passed at the East Liverpool City Hospital with her loving family at her side as they always were, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, following a lengthy illness. She was 79 years old.Born in Metz, West Virginia on September 10, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Nelta McVicker Thompson.
Caron retired from the Hancock County School System where she worked as a teacher’s aide for handicapped students. She was a member of the Church of God, and a graduate of the Weirton High School.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Herman Paris, and her brother David Shreve.
Caron leaves her children, Amy (Jeff) Owen of Chester, Scott Paris, and Eric (Lisa) Paris, both of New Cumberland. In addition, she is survived by her brothers, Richard McVicker of Weirton, and Brian (Marisa) Shreve of Wellsburg, WV., her grandchildren Courtney, Erika, Paris, Nicholas, Keen, Autumn, Nathanial, and Anna, and her great-grandchildren, Jace and Colt.
Family and friends will celebrate Caron’s life, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. A time of visitation will be observed from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at the New Cumberland Cemetery
