WELLS TO BE INDUCTED INTO HALL OF FAME

            Diane was born in Straubing, Germany on March 15, 1959, while her father was serving in the United States Army. She is the daughter of Ed and Pat Reese, lifelong residents of New Cumberland.

            Diane has lived in New Cumberland since the age of 2. She has one brother, Mark who resides in St. Louis, Missouri. She has been married to Bill Wells for 41 years. They have two children, Ryan(Alicia) Wells and their daughter, Addy, reside in New Cumberland. Trisha (Jason Enochs) and their sons ,Brice and Cade, reside in New Manchester.

            Diane attended New Cumberland Elementary and New Cumberland Jr. High Schools. She graduated from Oak Glen High School in 1977.

            Diane worked at Trinity United Methodist Church as an Administration Assistant to the pastors for approximately 30 years.

            She has served on various committees at her church and coordinated various programs such as Light Up Jesus, Vacation Bible School, United Methodist Youth Fellowship, taught Sunday School, worked in conjunction with Emergency Management to help assist flood victims with meal assistance, coordinated the start up of the Weekend Food Bags at Oak Glen High School.

            Diane has served as a member of City Council, PTA President and Camp Fire Leader. She is currently a member of the New Cumberland RiverFest Committee, New Cumberland Garden Club, Treasurer of New Cumberland Food Closet and Secretary of the Oak Glen Alumni Association.

            Diane has coached cheerleading and track on the Middle School and High School Level. She served as the head girls track coach at Oak Glen High School approximately 20 years. She currently is coaching track at Oak Glen Middle School.

            Diane enjoys beach vacations and attending her grandchildren’s various activities. She is devoted to her family and community.
