Carol A. Russell, loving mother, grandmother, and sister passed at the Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, following a lengthy illness. She was 76 years old.
She was born in St. Helen’s England on November 3, 1945. Carol was the daughter of the late James L. and Eileen Tuohy McKinnon.
A loving homemaker, Carol had previously worked at Opportunity Homes in Lisbon. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius, and a 1963 graduate of East Liverpool High School.
Along with her parents, her husband, Michael Russel preceded her in death.
Carol leaves her children, Sean Russell of East Liverpool, and Danny (Vickie) Russell of Augusta, Ga., her siblings, Tricia (Jim) Cooper of East Liverpool, Michael (Trudy) McKinnon, and Dennis “DJ” (Anna) McKinnon, both of East Liverpool; her grandchildren, Amanda Borsodi, Alan Russell, Ashely Dow, Heather Russell, and Paul Russell; and her great-grandchild, Brandon. Several nieces and nephews survive as well.
Carol’s family will celebrate her life with Catholic Funeral Rites at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Sunday, January 30, at 5:00 p.m. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
