Patricia Viola “Patty” Swearingen, 84, of New Cumberland, WV passed away Sunday, February 13,2022 at Stone Pear Pavilion.
    She was born March 17, 1937 in East Liverpool, OH a daughter of the late Bernard O’ Neil & Beatrice Leone ( Chamberlain) Watson.  She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers Jon Watson and Lynn Watson.
    Patty was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Choir; the New Cumberland Women’s Club; Beaver Creek Meadows Ladies Golf League and was a homemaker.
    Surviving are her loving husband Hervey W. “Bill” Swearingen at home; 2 daughters Jody (Ralph) Mitchell of Aspen, CO and Marcy (Argyle) Dillon of Reynoldsburg, OH; a sister Sue (Eugene) Paugh of Ozark, MO and a brother James ( JoAnn) Watson of Steubenville, Oh; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.  
    Friends will be received at Turley Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm then Thursday from 10 am until time of services at 12 pm.
    Services will be there Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Robert Staub officiating. Interment will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
