Shirley Gay Bowersox, 75, of New Cumberland, passed away March 2, 2022.
Born May 13, 1946 in Buckhannon, WV, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy (Knight) Oldaker.
Shirley attended the former New Cumberland Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bowersox; a son, Roger Bowersox; a grandson; and two sisters, Margie and Viola Oldaker.
Surviving are two sons, James Bowersox (Janice) and John (Barb) Bowersox all of New Cumberland; a daughter, Linda (Ken) Debore of Florida; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Denzil Oldaker of New Cumberland; and two sisters, Delma Dulaney of Iowa and Elva Sue (Larry) Blackwell of Weirton.
Visitation is Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WV, where funeral services will be at 11am on Tuesday, March 8,2022.
