Weirton, WV – The 2022 Summer Concert Series is kicking off on Memorial Day weekend. This will be the 10th season for free community concerts at the Weirton Event Center, and the Top of WV CVB is excited to announce this year’s lineup. The 13-concert series will provide a wide selection of genres with performances of classic covers and original work. On July 1st, The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra will return to the Weirton Event Center for a patriotic concert, kicking off the City of Weirton’s 75th Anniversary weekend. Additional performances are the Vince Villanova Big Band, House of Soul, buck fiddler Hillary Klug, and the Hillbilly Gypsies. The full schedule includes:

“We have a nice variety of familiar bands and new acts scheduled for this season,” said Executive Director, Rachel Keeney. “Some of our favorite oldies and country groups are returning this year, we’ll have bluegrass musicians that have performed on Mountain Stage, and even a Top 10 finalist from The Voice.”
Mark your calendars for the free concerts held at 3322 East Street on Fridays throughout the summer. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the concerts start at 7 p.m. A rotation of food trucks will be set up each week including Truckin’ Triangles, Giometti’s catering, Lea Lea’s Bakery, and more.
