The first annual Tri-State Area Youth “Showcase of Talent” took place on Sunday, April 24, at the East Liverpool Area Community and Learning Center. Sixteen acts, featuring students from grade levels 4 through 12, performed at the event sponsored by the Cleda Marie Fitzjohn Memorial Music Trust. Founded in 2017 by John D. Fitzjohn to honor the life and memory of his mother, the trust benefits music students of all ages from the following areas: northern Hancock County, WV; Beaver Local, East Liverpool and Wellsville, OH; and Midland Borough, PA.
