OBITUARY: ANTHONY BOYLE

  • Anthony R. “Fudgo” Boyle of East Liverpool, passed at the Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital in Beaver, PA., on Thursday, May 19, 2022.He was born in East Liverpool on March 31, 1938, to the late Alfred J. and Mildred Prodonovich Boyle. He was 84 years old.Fudgo worked 23 years at the former Crucible Steel in Midland, retiring as a clerk, and he was a graduate of Midland High School class of 1956. Following retirement from the mill, he was a delivery route driver for Tri-State Supply in East Liverpool for twenty years. He was a member of the East Liverpool Fraternal Order of Eagles #169, East Liverpool American Legion Post #374, Midland Serbian Club, and the Midland Sportsman’s Club. Fudgo’s family and friends will always remember him for his kind and caring demeanor, as he always had a smile for everyone. Some would say he was generous to a fault. He loved being outdoors, picking mushrooms, and reading. Most of all he loved being surrounded by family and he was a friend to all.In addition to his parents, one brother James (Chicken) Boyle preceded him in death.Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Janice Linville Boyle, his daughter, Toni Ann (Douglas) McComas of Etters, PA., his son, Craig (Robin) Boyle, and his sisters, Julia Buckley of Beaver, PA., and Rita Groscost of Huntington Beach, CA. Fudgo also leaves five special grandchildren, Matthew (Alexis) McComas, Courtney (Chris) Heimbuch, Dominic Boyle, Amanda McComas, and Alexa Boyle.Fudgo’s wishes were that no services by held.
