Beatrice “Kay” McGaffick, 75, of Chester, WV, passed away June 8, 2022.Born in Mannington, WV on April 20, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Stanton and Marjorie (Fox) Eddy .Kay held membership with the YMCA. She was an avid painter, swimmer, gardener and she enjoyed researching her family geological history.Surviving are her devoted husband, John “Buck” McGaffick of Chester, two sons, John D. (Stephanie) McGaffick of Chester and James McGaffick of Chester; three grandchildren, Tori, Hannah and Connor; two brothers, Jerry (Peggy) Eddy of Pittsburgh and Steve (Sara) Eddy of Florida; and a sister, Karen (Lynn) Miller of Mt Pleasant, Pa.Visitation is Sunday, June 12, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV, where services will be held at 1pm on Monday, June 13, 2022Interment will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester, WV.
