YOUR IMAGINATION STATION with Miss Connie

So, what did y’all have for a snack today? The kiddos at the library had OCTOPI & SEAWEED with some OCEAN WATER to wash it down. The look on their faces when we showed them their snacks, was priceless.

Well, once again, the SHARK had to munch on a few new kiddos, before we began our day. Then Miss Amy read How To Hide an Octopus, and other Sea Creatures. The ‘bigs’ went outside to make a Soctopus while the ‘littles’ stayed inside to make their own octopi.

We gathered back on the carpet to hear Miss Connie read Tina and the Penguin and they made the cutest little penguins, and some were walking around like penguins. One of the older ‘bigs’ even read to the younger ‘bigs’ and did a fantastic job.

With about 12 minutes left before the rides were coming, the ‘bigs’ actually enjoyed sitting on the sidewalk, socializing, laughing, and …….yes, drawing with sidewalk chalk, lol.

Y’all, these kids are making friends, coming out of their comfort zones, and really having a good time. We are LOVING it !!

And remember, be sure to “SWIM” on over to our Lynn Murray Memorial Library Facebook Page to see ALL the photos from our day.

Stop back in tomorrow to see our next day’s fun. Until then, grab a good book, and let it your imagination take you places you’ve never been.
