Carol Ann Glendenning, a lifelong resident of Chester passed at the East Liverpool City Hospital on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, following a brief illness.Carol was born in East Liverpool on April 7, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Ray Gary Glendenning and Virginia Beal Howell and stepdaughter of the late James Howell. Carol was 81 years old.Since she was 26 years old, Carol had been cared for by Patty McDole who preceded her in death, Rhonda McDole, Vicky McDole, Melissa Vogan, and Makenna Vogen. They were her extended family and are deeply saddened by her loss.In addition to her parents and Patty, her brothers, Gary Ray Glendenning, Kenneth Glendenning, Frank Howell, and Ricky Howell preceded her in death.She leaves her siblings, James Howell of Jesup, GA., Ruthie Howell of Brunswick, GA., Kathy Murphy of Waynesville, GA., Audrey Sumner of Brunswick, GA., Tammy Tolbert of Brunswick, GA., and Anna Soles of Garfield, GA.Private graveside services will be held at the family’s convenience at the Union Cemetery in New Manchester, WV. She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
