Helen Dorothy McKnight Hudson of New Cumberland, WV passed Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
Born in Pughtown, WV on November 4, 1928. She was the daughter of Margaret Peterson and Edward Carl McKnight and step daughter of Cameron A. Reed all deceased.Also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Hudson whom she married in 1953, her brother Preston McKnight who died in the Korean War, two infants sons at birth, Dennis and Joseph, and her sons, Carl Edward Hudson and David Joe Hudson , A great-grandson , Brad Keller,a great-great grand son, Oliver Allison, also two step brothers Willard and Dale Reed.Surviving are her daughter Joyce (Dave) Allison of Chester, WV and her son John (Kelly) Hudson of New Cumberland,nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren ,also her sister, Charlene Shepard.Visitation is Tuesday, Aug 16, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WV, where funeral service will be at 11a.m on Wednesday, Aug 17,2022.
