Betty Esken, 70, of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away peacefully, with her loving family around her, on September 8, 2022.Born in Roswell, New Mexico on April 6, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Betty (Cochran) Straight.Betty was a former cashier for Giant Eagle.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Dennis and Wayne Straight.Surviving are her husband, James “Henry” Esken of East Liverpool; a daughter, Bessie Mayfield of Chester; two sons, Andrew (Deborah) Means of East Liverpool and Paul Means of Chester; and a grandchild, Tiffany Mayfield.Visitation is Tuesday, Sept 14, from 2-4 and 6-8, at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV, where funeral services will be held at 11am. Wednesday, Sept 15.Burial will follow in Shadow Lawn Memorial Gardens.
