George W. Merkich, 85, of Weirton, passed, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born, July 7 1937, in New Cumberland, he was the son of the late George and Sarah Ella Robinson Merkich.
He was preceded in death by 6 of his siblings.
George will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Margaret F. Wdarsky Merkich; daughter, Barbara Ann Livingston; son George W. Merkich Jr. and sister, Barbara Huff and her husband Fred. He will also be missed by his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the family’s convenience. He is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
