The Golden Bears split in the BMC finals last night. The 7th grade fell to the Beavers 20-25 and 21-25. Darias Price led the team with 9 points. Emri Greenlief had 14 sets and Zoey Caughey had 5 kills. The 8th grade Lady Bears defended their title of BMC Champions winning 25-22 and 25-17. Great team effort with Kylie Robinson, Kendall Six, and Jad Mumford all scoring 5 points. Mikalyn “Bug” Balch, Ellie Smith, and Mattie Carney each had 4 points. Smith had 26 sets, while Balch and Keira Vick had 7 and 5 kills respectively.
Earlier in the season Coach Michelle McHaffie reached a milestone of 500 wins.
