Lions Scholar of the Month for September
Kyle Swan, son of Brian and Barbara Swan and brother of Alexis Swan New Cumberland, has been selected as the Oak Glen Lions Club Scholar of the Month for September 2022. He has a cumulative GPA of 3.9. He is a member of Art Club (4 years), the OGHS Swim Team (4-year letter), and Theater Program. Within the Theater Program, Kyle has starred in several productions, such as Annie, Arsenic and Old Lace, and The Wizard of Oz. He is currently playing the role of Draculain Oak Glen Little Theater’s production of Dracula slated for November 11 – 13.He was selected to represent the Junior class as a member of the 2022 Junior Prom Court. Kyle is a member of the Homecoming and Prom committees and was the Oak Glen’s “Master of Ceremonies” for three years. He has participated in several local art shows, most recently winning an “Honorable Mention” at the New Cumberland River Fest for mixed media artwork. In addition to all of these activities, Kyle maintains a job at Hales Kitchen. His future plans are to join the Marine Corps and specialize in Avionics.
