Caraline Hale, 18, daughter of John and Beth Hale and sister of Samantha and Cierra Hale of New Manchester, is Oak Glen High School’s Lions Scholar of the Month for December 2022. She has an accumulative GPA of 3.958
Caraline was elected Senior Vice President. She is a member of the National Honor Society (2 years), Pep Club (4 years), Art Club (3 years), Culture Club (3 years), Judicial Scholars (1 year) and a 4-year letter in soccer where she has helped accomplish an undefeated regular 2022 season, 4 OVAC and Sectional titles, 3 Regional titles and 3 State appearances. As a Senior, Caraline was 1 of 9 girls selected to represent Hancock County at Rhododendron Girl’s State where she was elected Senator.
Caraline was selected to represent her Junior class as a member of the 2022 Prom court and her Senior class as a member of the 2022 Homecoming court. Caraline is a part of both Prom committee and Homecoming committee.
Caraline has helped better her community by completing over 30+ community service hours in the last two years. She also maintains a job at Hale’s High Street Kitchen.
After completing High School, she plans to further her education at West Virginia University studying Computer Science.
