WMC is the proud recipient of the 2022 WV Governor’s Award for outstanding support of tissue donation and cornea donation.  Representatives from Donate Life West Virginia presented the award to deserving hospitals in WV who have “embraced organ, tissue and cornea donation and transplantation as a priority, and who, by increasing the number of donors within their healthcare facilities, are proving they are leaders in donation….”  Donate Life West Virginia is comprised of four federally designated not-for-profit organ procurement organizations (OPOs) that are dedicated to promoting and coordinating the donation of organs and tissue for transplantation.  Accepting the award for WMC are Emily Morris, RN; Jessica Barach, RN; Tammy Fowler, BSN, RN-Director of WMC Emergency Department; Alex Lemley, RN
