Dewey Moore, 78, of Newell, WV, passed away February 2, 2023.
Born in New Matamoras, Ohio on July 14, 1944, he was the son of the late Forrest and Letha Moore.
Dewey graduated from Wells High School in 1963. He was retired from the Homer Laughlin China Company. Dewey loved the outdoors, hunting, hiking; he also enjoyed animals and gardening that he shared with friends and neighbors. Dewey was a flea market Enthusiest and enjoyed spending time at the Wells Building Coffee Club.
Surviving are his loving daughters Lisa (John) Smith of New Cumberland and Teresa (Andy) Blanchard of East Liverpool, a granddaughter, Vanessa Smith of New Cumberland ; a brother, Ed Moore(Diana Curtis) of East Liverpool; a nephew, Eddie Moore of Florida; a niece Mandi Koontz of East Liverpool; Also, by Aunt Veradine “Dee Dee” Brookes of Canton.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2023, from 4pm until time of funeral service at 6pm. at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV.
