The New Cumberland and Chester Lions Clubs provided vision screenings to about 270 students from Pre-K through 4th grade at New Manchester Elementary School on February 24.  The vision screening identifies unknown issues and allows the student to then follow up with an optometrist. Lions Clubs provide assistance with the purchase of glasses for members of their communities who have financial need. Thanks to Principal Cindy Yeater and Assistant Principal Jennifer Enochs for allowing us to serve the students and to School Nurse Mary Lyons for her organizational skills.  Lion Tom Hineman from the Chester club assisted New Cumberland Lions Jeanne Cox, Jim Wells, Peggy Lee, Joyce Young, Cindy Skerbetz and Jennifer Meeker.
