OBITUARY: DONA MULHERN

.Gone dancing with angles and receiving her heavenly reward, Dona D. Mulhern passed peacefully at her home in East Liverpool while in the loving care of her family. Dona passed on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from complications of recent surgery.She was the daughter of the late Donald W. and Donna J. Potts Danver, and she was born in East Liverpool on November 26, 1957.Dona was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor that kept her family amused. Her family will forever cherish their many fond memories of times spent together. Dona was a retired preschool aide for special education students at the former East Elementary School, and she worshiped at the Salvation Army in East Liverpool. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and a member of the Salvation Army Home League Ministry.She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Stephanie Taylor, and her husband John of East Liverpool, her bonus son, Dylan Mulhern of Ohio, and her brother, Donald E. Danver, and his wife Regina of East Liverpool. Granny, as she was known, will be never forgotten by her grandchildren, Tayler (Ben) Johnson, Stephan (Megan) Johnson, Austin Johnson, Josh Taylor, Nathan (Destiny) Henderson, and Trace Henderson; her great-grandchildren, Enjolie, Alesana, Jakoby, Anberlin, Theo, Amity, Emery, and Grace; her nieces, Afton (Nick) Danver, and Ariel (Seth) Danver; great nieces and nephews, Ruckus, Phaedra, Brynnley, Odin, Camilla, and Cash; her boyfriend who she called Gold Fish and he called her Sweet Pea, Steven Smith, and her special friend John Mulhern as well as several cousins and special friends.Captain Lydia Behr of the Salvation Army will celebrate Dona’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Monday, March 20, at 5:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
