OBITUARY: FRANK “SHOES” PEARSON

Frank J. “Shoes” Pearson, 71, of Chester, passed unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Born, on March 21, 1951, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late William J. “Boots” and Betty D. Norman Pearson.

He was a graduate of Oak Glen High School Class of 1969. Frank formerly worked for Hancock County Vending Company as a technician, and he was a Public Notary. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Chester.  Frank was a nonstop go-getter, you would often hear him say “do something, even if it’s wrong”, words he not only said but lived by. In Frank’s younger years, he had a passion for playing softball and shooting pool. He also had a quick wit, a sharp tongue, and a great sense of humor that made many laugh.

Frank will be deeply missed by his sister, Anne Barnhart, and her husband, Ron of Chester; nieces, Melissa Backus and her husband, Tyler and Emma Ross and Jessica Barnhart.

No services are planned at this time. In memory of Frank’s sense of humor, go out and make someone laugh today.
