Robert Noel Foreman of Wheeling, died on May 3, 2023 at Liza’s Place, Valley Hospice South. He was born on Christmas day, 1942, in New Cumberland, West Virginia to Dolores Hood Foreman and Archie Robert Foreman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Miles McKennan Foreman.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anne Hazlett Foreman, his six children, Samuel Hood Foreman, David Maxwell Foreman (Emily Wilson), James Hazlett Foreman, Robert Long Foreman (Stefanie Wortman), Anne McKennan Foreman (Derek Clark) and William McKennan Foreman (Bryn Perrott). Five grandchildren also survive him, Owen Foreman, Moriah Foreman, Rose Foreman, Alden Clark and Calvin Clark. Four half siblings, Glee Ortiz, Scott Foreman, Nancy Piantadossi and William Foreman.
He received his BA in History from Bethany College, his MA in Political Science from University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University. He practiced law in Wheeling for over forty years.
