Charles “Charlie” Ashcraft, 75, of Weirton, passed away May 3, 2023.Born April 12, 1948 in Burton, WV, he was the son of the late John and Marcella (Statler) Ashcraft.
Charlie was retired from the City of Weirton Street Dept.He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Ashcraft.Surviving are his loving wife, Jamie (Hukill) Ashcraft of Weirton; a son, Michael Ashcraft of Ohio; two daughters, Michelle (Bill) Martin of Wellsburg and Shawna (Jay) Pedrotti of Weirton; eight grandchildren, Stefan, Tristen and Devin Ashcraft; Cory Martin, Amber (Zach) Johnson and Caitlyn, Piper and Conner Pedrotti; a great-granddaughter, Scarlett Johnson; four brothers, John (Betty) Ashcraft, James “Pat”  (Ruth) Ashcraft, Roger (Trish) Ashcraft and Rick Ashcraft and a sister, Shirley (Jeff) Crane.Visitation will be Monday, May 8, 2023 from 3pm until time of funeral service at 6pm, at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WV.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
