While Oak Glen softballs fans wait with baited breath to see if the Oak Glen High Softball team will become State Champs, the Hancock Board of Education, voted to proceed on contacting Field Turf and Musco to start the process of securing pricing for turf and lights for OGHS softball and baseball fields, including contracting for surveys and soil samples.

Discussion on the final plans for the baseball facility that includes JT Sauer & Associates providing the BOE with a conceptual/feasibility drawing of the seating, plaza area, batting cage, bull pens, entrance gating and press box that were not included in the latest McKinley plan.

Plans were shown with the concept of raising funds with naming rights for the stadium and various areas throughout the sports complex.
