Anthony “Tony” Butto, 82, of New Manchester, passed, Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 30, 1941, in Weirton, he was the son of the late Patsy and Eva Alvaro Butto.

He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Nikki Butto, and daughter-in-law, Shema Butto.

A graduate of Follansbee High School and United States Navy Veteran who served his Country proudly during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He dedicated numerous years to working at Weirton Steel Corporation.

Tony was an avid outdoorsman whether he was hunting, fishing, or building homes. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing poker.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Schon Butto; children, Donyell Walters and her husband, Vernon of Wiggins, MS., Shawn Anthony Butto of Chester, and Richard Butto of Weedville, PA.; brothers, Albert Butto and his wife, Patricia, Nick Butto and Patsy Butto and his wife, Roxanne; grandchildren. Yolanda (Justin), Robert (Rachel), Stacie, Jocelyn, Cole, Sabastian, Madison, and Isabella; great-grandchildren, Katie, Jennessa, Rayden, Jordan, and Autumn; bonus daughter, Michelle Campbell (John). The Butto family would like to extend a special thank you to John and Dottie White.

Services will be held at Locust Hill Cemetery, Friday, June 9, 2023, at 11:30 AM. The Arner Funeral Chapel assisted with making these arrangements.
