The home of Dave and Bonnie Burskey of Second Avenue in New Cumberland was chosen as the Yard of the Month for June. The Yard of the Month award is a joint project of the NC Volunteers and the city of New Cumberland. The Burskeys have a well-groomed lawn with flowering bushes and trees along the edges on the front and side of the house. There are also beautiful hanging baskets on the front porch of the home. As winners, they received a framed certificate, a check, and the yard sign which will stay in their yard until next month’s winner is announced.
