Del. Mark Zatezalo responded via e-mail to a request for an explanation as to why he sponsored the legislation changing the county/city net terminal revenue on July 16. Zatezalo noted that he was not aware that the attempts to contact him were for an article.
“I will make sure that the work I am doing to determine what I can do to help the county is well understood, The money allotted to the county’s people has not been lessened. The split is definitely problematic in the short term.”
The Hancock County Commission has released a list of projects funded by the 2 percent net terminal income they have received since 1994.
