Hancock County, W.Va. – A portion of WV 2, from milepost 0.27 to milepost 1.11, and a portion of County Route 507 (Cove Road), to the Main Street Bridge, in Weirton, will be reduced to one lane, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., beginning on Monday, August 7, 2023, through Sunday, November 17, 2023, for a resurfacing project.  Street parking will also be restricted. Flaggers will maintain traffic   Motorists are advised to slow down, expect delays, and use alternate routes.

Alternate Routes: WV 105 Pennsylvania Avenue, County Route 507 Cove Road, and County Route 11 King Creek Road.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
