Chester-Newell Sportsmen club:

The August 5th Ohio river catfish tournament was won by, on the left, Bryson Walls of Chester, WV. with a 33 1/2″ Flathead catfish.

On the right was 2nd place lucky draw winner Scott Reed of Pittsburgh, PA. with a Channel catfish. The lucky draw number was 20.

Water temperature at Montgomery locks was 80 degrees.

The last tournament is scheduled for this Saturday August 19th.

Recent rains and cloudy water should bring in some nice catfish. Water temperature as of Tuesday is down to 78 degrees.
