The New Cumberland Riverfest will officially begin the annual fest at 11 a.m. with Mayor Will White offering opening comments. The Oak Glen Bank will perform the National Anthem with the Color Guard from Boy Scout Troop 18 . From Noon til 1 p.m., the Riverfest will pay tribute to a much-loved musician and friend, John Edwards who for 12 years graced the Riverfest with his music. Guitarist Jim Halsey, good friend of Edwards will pay tribute to John by entertaining the crowd with some of Edwards’ favorites.
