Clara Fay Watson, 74 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 after a brief illness at JFK Hospital in Atlantis, Florida. She was born on April 14, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio. Clara retired from JFK Hospital as a Pharmacy Technician for 20 years. Clara was the daughter of the late Cecil and Kate (Peters) Watson. She was also preceded in death by her brother in law James R. Pappas, Jr. Clara is survived by her sister Carol Kay Pappas of New Cumberland, WV and nephew James R. Pappas III (Michelle) and great nephew James R. Pappas IV of Palmetto Bay Florida and very dear friend of over 50 years, Judy Reed and roommate of 36 years and many cousins. Clara was cremated and brought to WV for burial. There will be a private prayer service with family and close friends in the chapel at New Cumberland Cemetery on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00 am with Theron Smith presiding.
