LIONS HOLD WALKATHON

Each fall, members of the New Cumberland Lions Club walk in memory of Past District Governor Jack Harris and Past President Brian Webster to raise money for the WV Lions Sight Conservation Foundation, which provides VISION ASSISTANCE, HEARING ASSISTNACE, OUTREACH AND RESEARCH.

Each year, the West Virginia Lions Sight Conservation Foundation funds surgeries and low vision devices for the unserved of West Virginia. WVLSCF works with the Starkey Foundation to provide hearing aids to those who are unable to afford them. By supporting outreach programs, WVLSCF helps provide vision screening, general clinics, and education on the importance of vision health to those who do not have access to regular vision care due to economic or other barriers.
