OBITUARY: FREDERIC LUDOVICI

Frederic James Ludovici passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023.  Fred was born in East Liverpool Hospital on June 23, 1959, to the late Dominic and Sue Ludovici.  He was a 1977 graduate of Oak Glen High School.  He worked at the family automobile business Tad Motors in East Liverpool until its closing, he then owned and operated St. Clair Auto Sales.  Fred’s first love was music.  He played throughout the Tri-State area most of his life entertaining many.  He played Guitar, bass, piano, drums, saxophone, mandolin, and banjo.  Fred played for fundraisers at no charge to help many people from young children with cancer to anyone with financial problems, just ask and Fred would be there.  He was a gifted musician and song writer.  He could play most requests as he was the man of 1000 songs.  He also loved the outdoors and “loved to Hunt to Fish and Camp “.  He had a knack for big bucks.

    Fred was proceded in death by his Parents, and an older (infant) sister, Michelle. Fred is survived by his son Nick, born on Fred’s birthday. A grandson, Dominic; Brother, Mike (Lisa); Brother Joe (Tammy); Sister Jill Orenzuk (Marc) and Brother Ron, all of Chester.  He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  Fred also leaves behind the love of his life, Leslie Lynne Hoffmaster of Mantua, Ohio who was a fantastic addition to his life. He also leaves behind a huge family of musician brothers and sisters, too many to list.  Lastly, he will be greatly missed by his best friends, Woobie and Buckaroo.

Friends and family will celebrate Fred’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Monday, October 30, at 10:00 a.m. His pastor, Mark Blakeley will officiate. Friends are invited to visit with family at the funeral home on Sunday when the family will be present from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.
