It is with profound sadness that the family of Sally Ann (Stover) Graham announce her sudden passing on October 19, 2023 at the age of 72.
Originally from New Manchester, West Virginia, Sally moved to Pawleys Island in 1998 and has called it home ever since. She was a fiercely strong and independent woman who instilled her values in her family. Her greatest passion was her daughters and grandchildren. She was the backbone and the strength of her family, whom she cared deeply for, and always made sure that they were loved, taken care of, and happy. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She always put others first. She was absolutely selfless and had an enormous heart full of love. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed (Proverbs 3:18). She endured much in her life and leaned on God for everything. She would always say “Give it to God”. Sally was extraordinarily talented; everything she touched, she made better. It didn’t matter who you were, you could count on three things: her beautiful smile, her open arms, and her many words of wisdom. Her Sassy sense of humor was truly one of a kind. She left her imprint on this world through her endless love and laughter.
Sally is the beloved daughter of the late Harl and Jane Stover. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert H. Graham. She will forever be remembered by her daughters, Kami (Justin) Shortreed and Karas (Kevin) Bordner, and her grandchildren; Breanna and Brittany Beatty, and Payton and Jett Bordner.
A Celebration of Life will be held November 4th from 1pm to 5pm with a special tribute at 3pm at The Ricefields, 506 Fieldgate Circle, Pawleys Island, SC. She has left all of us with wonderful memories of our time with her. Please stop by to reminisce about our beautiful mom and Gigi, our gal Sal.
Memorial Donations may be made in Sally Graham’s name to Shriners Hospital or All 4 Paws, 708 Petigru Dr., Pawleys Island, SC, 29585
She is far more precious than jewels. She dresses herself with strength and makes her arms strong. Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates. (Proverbs 31:10, 17, 25-31)
